Vacancy Activated System

Fixing vacancy, wall by wall, citywide.

One planned network of back walls, from Malibu to Melrose.

Set well back from the glass, our interior back-wall displays skip most window-sign permits. Every site is code-checked.

01 — The system

Every empty back wall on the Westside is a screen that’s switched off. VIS switches it on — a glimpse from the sidewalk that sparks curiosity, pays the owner, places the brand and gives the block its light back.

A visual fix for the city’s vacant retail spaces — on the back wall, never the window.

03 — How it works

From empty back wall to live placement in three moves.

  1. Survey

We walk the space — sightlines, back-wall size, power and hours — and match it to the right format and the right brand.

    Owner + VIS · 3–5 days

  2. Produce

Brand creative is adapted to the back wall, then printed, painted or programmed. We handle scheduling and install logistics.

    Brand + VIS · 1–2 weeks

  3. Switch on

The back wall goes live with photo reporting for the brand — and a clean handback for the owner when the space leases.

05 — Corridors

One network. Seven corridors.

Vacancy doesn’t happen one empty space at a time, and neither does the fix. VIS links empty units across Santa Monica, Malibu, San Vicente, Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, Melrose and Fairfax, so every back wall we add builds toward a single, city-scale canvas.
